I am going try making some extra soap this next batch and try a plastic 3 cavity guest size mold. Any tips or suggestions on how to get the soap out of these types of molds once cured? The mold is a really pretty flower and I don't want to ruin it getting it out.

Lightly 'grease' it with mineral oil before pouring, and then do what nattynoo said (i.e. put it in the freezer for a bit right before you go to unmold). It should pop right out.

Sorry to hijack...
I asked this one other time but don't think I got an answer... do you list the mineral oil on your ingredient list?

That's the reason I don't ever use mineral oil to grease molds. I just pop them in the freezer. Because to me...you would need to list it.

That was my thought too. I like the way it helps it come out but don't like the thought of it still on my bars. I hope after some more uses my Kelsei will just get seasoned enough for them to pop out. Thnx A!
