PKF, Palm Kernel Flakes not good for liquid soap?

Hello!

Been a while! I"m just curious if any of you could shed some light on if PKF, Palm Kernel Flakes, are not a good idea for liquid soap in any certain percenages? I made a batch and with around 35% PKF and it didn't even gel properly. it was pretty bad. I think I may have bad Glycerine or KOH that is old, or both.

I've only used PKF in my glycerin liquid soap once (@ 28%), but for what it's worth, all went well. I didn't particularly care for the formula and never made it again, but there were no other problems with it other than my skin just happened to prefer my other formulas better.
