I tested Peak's Pink Sugar in the small silicone loaf pan from WSP. I was expecting the dark brown, so I added a hot pink swirl (ITP). Apparently I am scared of the spatula when I'm swirling. I think I need to do a little more swirling while still in the pot.

Love the Pink Sugar OOB, it did morph slightly, more vanilla once soaped. It's still nice, but I much prefer the smell out of the bottle. I did soap at approx 0.5 oz per ppo, so not as much as normal. I did not put any FO in the pink. This silicone loaf mold holds a recipe based on 29-30 oz of oil. Still playing with the perfect number (especially when trying to swirl).

Thanks! I think my goal with Pink Sugar will be a hot pink embed of some kind. I need to look at some of the small silicone tube molds for inspiration. Pink balls would probably be okay.

I really like the yellow/pink combo, but knew in advance what I was up against. My neices will probably like the brown/pink combo.

Has anyone soaped more than one supplier's Pink Sugar? I'm tempted to order other suppliers to compare.

I tried the SS Pink Sugar which they advertise does not discolor as much. It doesn't but it also doesn't smell anywhere near as good either. I've tried the Pink Sugar from Peak, very nice smell but dark dark dark, wellington same thing and not as nice of a smell...there was one more can't think of it right now.

I just ordered from SW, this will be my last try with this scent. Will try to remember to report back with results.

I like the pink/brown combo, those colours go well together. I think their is enough of a contrast in the two colours, sometimes you can overmix.

Prarie- Thanks for the report from other suppliers. If my neices really, really like the Pink Sugar, I may just stick with Peak and go with the brown/pink combo.

Thanks Relle for the comments. I'm not sure more swirling would have made much of a difference. In the very light swirl areas, it doesn't really show the pink as much, so it just ended up looking more marbled in those spots. More pronounced as the bars have darkened. Still a very vanilla smell, but I think more of the original scent is coming back.

I can't get the smell of the Pink Sugar out of my silicone mold. Not quite sure what to do about that. It soaked, I ran it through the dishwasher (only made the dishwasher smell like it). :)
