In 1966 Stephen Hawking published his doctoral thesis "Properties of expanding universes"

50 years later, Stephen Hawking co-authored and published a further paper "Soft Hair on Black Holes"

Nope. Not just circles. It's a math joke.

It's actually cherry and blueberry, which is one of the kids' favorites. Personally, I don't have a favorite pie-- there are too many to choose!

It has to do with the shape of the pie itself. It is a play on words.

A group of us when for Pizza Pie (that's the actual name of the place) for lunch today to celebrate Pi Day and mourn the loss of the Great Stephen Hawking.

We will be having apple and pumpkin pie this evening. I always make the last pumpkin pie until September on Pi Day.
