:?: :| I've heard or read that PH alters colors. Does the PH alter only color or fragrence too? How do you measure for those? Does everything mean wasting frag and oils???

Some colors are more stable than others in cp soap. I use colored clays, ultramarines and oxides. Most of these are fairly stable in cp soap. Checking the distributors' descriptions with colors and fragrances will help more than anything.

:?:  Do u have recipe/frag that make a purple stay in the bar??? Pay a million (heehee!) for that!

I use titanium dioxide for whiteness plus violet ultramarine. Makes a beautiful pastel lavender but keeps it from going yucky grey.

As for fragrances, make sure you use something for CP soap, and follow the usage guidelines. That should help.

Yes violet ultramarine is wonderful! Right now I'm experimenting with Alkanet for a natural color, we'll see how it lasts over time.

I use ultramarine blue from NGC & a little Bordeaux mica from GPE to make a lavender purple. That soap I put in the fridge for a few days so it doesn't gel, which keeps it a nice lavender shade.
