Oh, I missed the hinged part. Are you thinking of having all sides drop down? Maybe with just two sides hinged you could wrangle the soap loose, but I need to loosen all of the sides to release it from the liner.

Maybe? Or maybe have the end pieces removable, but not hinged? There are so many versions online to use as inspiration. One has stationary sides, but is split and hinges underneath. And then there are the ones with the bottoms that slide out.
