Peppermint Soaps

These are the two soaps I made using peppermint FO.

#1 - I tried a mica for the first time trying to make a "candy cane" theme soap but the red turned more pink and the soap got too hot during gel so it looks funky and the TD crackled. Also tried a hanger swirl for the first time but didn't work out so well.

#2 - I used cocoa powder for the first time as a colorant and I think this one turned out pretty good despite the quick acceleration and few bubbles but I'm still happy with it.

I think the pink peppermint looks very cool! You may not be happy with it but we're always critical of our own stuff. The cocoa one looks great, too.

I really like the cocoa one. It has a really interesting color separation line. Like it was a picture that you colored and stayed within the lines.

Yeah I have no idea how that happened but I like it too. :smile:

The chocolate one looks good enough to eat - like chocolate ganache.
