I had a post all done and was previewing it when dun dun dun! Firefox crashed yet again. Boogers.

Well here's the pics of the Peppermint Soap I tried out layering and using Rosewood(?) LabColor to see how deep a pink/red I'd get. Soap went to heavy trace for some reason and I ended up scooping the soap out of the bowls and spreading them like peanut butter across the mold. I ended up with some air pockets because of it and I should have given the mold a few bangs on the counter to lessen those. I like how they turned out however with a nice, strong fragrance.

Then last night I used cocoa powder and goat's milk to try making a single layer of each and calling it Chocolate Milk Soap. Unfortunately it still managed to gel and turned the GM layer a pretty, warm tan that looks more like peanut butter lol. I left this one unscented and maybe it will appeal to folks who are scent sensitive but love the look. And yes those are little dots of TD that I'd used to lighten the "milk" layer. I'll have to blend it better in the future.

Can't wait for my silicone tray mold to arrive to try this one again and swirl it but next time, into the freezer it goes instead of the fridge.

I like them both.

I wouldn't have notice any "imperfections" such as they are, unless you pointed them out. Just sayin'! :D

I'd rename the cocoa/GM one to something autumnal - falling leaves or something like that. It has a nice warm Fall feeling to it.
