My second soap this weekend was a Peanut Butter Cup Soap !!
I learned this weekend I was mixing my Lye and Oils a little on the high side at 125 degrees. I let this batch cool a little more to about 115 degrees and found the marble effect works better when cooler! I'm a slow learner...hahaha
Here's how it went...Please tell me what you think !!!
Crisco 59%
Coconut 25%
Peanut 16%
Superfat 5%
Hardness 37
Cleansing 17
Condition 57
Bubbly 17
Creamy 20
Iodine 72
INS 148
At trace I seperated some soap and mixed it with my peanut oil and cocoa powder mixture to marble the cocoa. The rest of the soap I mixed creamy peanut butter up into the soap and poured it into my mold then added the cocoa mixture.
My mold was a plactic container I got at the supermarket in the Bakery Section....(Yes the brownies it came with were yummmmy !!)
Here are my pictures....
This was my weekend projects.....
Hope you all enjoy...Thanks.
