This video shows handcrafted soapmakers in such a positive light. It interviews the president of the Soapmakers Guild and a few more. I was really pleased to see this.

thank you for this video post AngelMomma , it was very well put together and really showed soap making artistry as a true viable craft with no end to its creativity and product. the average person will not know the joy of taking a shower with a bar that you made personally to suit your needs as well as your family and even the joy of selling your soap not so much for the money but more for the ability to afford them a choice other then the norm.

my last soap made was over a month or so ago and you would not believe how much i am crying inside to make something. everyday the voice getting louder . i do not sell my soaps , only give few away to friends and family to try , but sooner or later i got to fully let it pay for itself . that way i can feed the voice

I'm glad you liked it too! I saw a link to it on FB from one of the soapmakers that had her soaps featured in parts of the video. I'm sure she is proud.

And I would believe you about the soapy voice Its been about the same amount of time for me and I'm getting seriously cranky! LOL! Only on the inside of course.
