I am so excited, I purchased a new Panther Cham this evening, and no complaints from the hubby. My hubby noticed how excited I got when I saw it and the price he told me to just get it!! Kinda makes me nervous since he was so inexpensive and already showing reds and blues so I think he is a mixed but I do not care. For ten years I had a gorgeous Nosy Be that was teal blue but they are going for up to $5oo here. This guy only cost me $149 which is not much more than I paid for tiny babies 25 yrs ago. Oh yes, got an Anole that I put in my former Mantis terranium, figured Autumn can have fun trying to tame the Anole. Will try to get a picture of him tomorrow.

You should have seen my DH and me trying to get the screened cage back together that I had dissambled to store yrs ago. It was a jig saw puzzle but we won!

The other critters I help with today was my granddaughters Easter Egger Chicks. They are so cute

You got new Mantis I got new a new critter too.... :D Panthers are one of the sweetest Chams, Jacksons next but they are nearly impossible to get. When we got our Harley's and sold the boat I was not home enough to take care of the chameleons, but now I am either home or at the parents and he will go with me. When I had my Nosy Be Blue Pair I could not get them to like each other so I never got to have any babies

OMG those are SO COOL !!!!

My son has 2 bearded Dragons, I have Hens outside and 2 cats indoors.

Critters are just the BEST !!!

Do they eat mealworms ?
Mealworms are easy to raise. I got a bunch starting now. Buy Large ones, let them beetle and in about 4 months you got little mealworms !

Yeah but your critter is cooler then mine, lol. My mom had a pair of blue bars but they would never breed either, the female ended up getting egg bound and dieing. It was odd as she never showed any signs of being eggy or ill.

I've had bearded dragons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, blue tongue skinks and various other reptiles. Currently I only have a banded rubber frog and a couple hermit crabs.

Sounds like me, I have had Jacksons pair, Panthers, Iguanas, my daughter had an 11 lb male that hated me and loved her, and we had a little rescue female that had stunted growth so those two were kept separate, Beardies, Water Dragons, a breeding pair of Peacock Day geckos, that died under someones care while we had to leave town for an emergency, Fresh Water Fish, Cockatiels, parakeets and raised at least a hundred tadpoles to baby froggies, then took them back to the area they were from. They were a little tree frog. Raised 2 baby Morning Doves that a neighbors kid tore a nest down that was in our yard. They lived to be released and the list goes on.....

Yes they will eat them but I do not feed mealworms to them because of they hard outer shell. Even though Panthers have teeth mealworms can be swallowed whole and actually kill the lizard by eating though them if they are not digested soon enough. These guys are to expensive to take the chance. My choice is nice fluffy butter worms or preferable silk worms which will get ordered next week if I can find my tanks. Crickets are easy to gut load so become their main diet. I just order a couple hundred crickets and keep them in a tank so I can control their diet

Once again I forgot how to multi quote. Must be old age... :D

Here is a pic of my Baby, you can't really see the red but he is showing some on one side.

We did have some roaches for the Mantis, but I do not remember which kind. I will look into the red runner thankyou. I am just not fully set-up yet because my daughter has my small tanks in her storage that I used for silk worms and crickets. LOL, today I paid $5.99 for 36 small crickets. Just a wee overpriced

Nice Obsidian. You are as bad as me or maybe worse . I am just hoping Freddie does not turn out to be Fredricka, it has happened before and is pretty hard to tell right now. :nodding: not enough bulge right now...

Post pic of your new Finches, I would like to see them. What color are yours? I just looked them up and they are sweet looking little finches.

I'll share pics as soon as I can get decent ones. They are pretty scared of the phone right now.
I have a chocolate pied and a fawn pied, I think. Some colors look so similar to me I'm having a hard time deciding.
