Palm Oil

Does anyone know a good on-line website for palm oil? I am a newbie and got overwhelmed with all the sites that carry the product. I want to make sure that I'm getting a good one for the right price. Thanks in advance.

I know, it's a lot of work comparing prices, etc. Some sites list weight and some list volume. My favorite supplier is Soaper's Choice --soaperschoice.com. They have a great selection. I buy organic sustainable palm. I especially like that they give the price per pound of each of their oils. That make it easy for me to figure batch costs. Shipping is fast, too.

I just get mine from wholesalesuppliesplus.com. They seem to be the cheapest in my opinion and shipping is already included in the price listed which I like too. I get my coconut and some of my molds from there as well. Good luck wading through all the info. out there! It's definitely overwhelming at times!

I really like Soaper's Choice a.k.a. Columbus Foods. They tend to have the best prices... great customer service (can always reach someone by phone). But it's best to order when you need more than one thing to save on shipping costs.

I thought the shipping charges were pretty reasonable, actually. Granted, I'm just getting started but I was charged less to ship 7 pounds of sustainable palm by Columbus Foods than I was 8 ounces of FO by ScentWorks ($7 vs $10).

Oh I'm not saying they are unreasonable. But when you ship 7 pounds of anything it's going to cost a few dollars. You will save money on shipping by combining several items as opposed to ordering Palm oil today and CO next week and so on. That's all I meant.

they are all about the same, obn-12.80, wsp 20. 50( not sure how much shipping or oil is, thats both, If i was buying 2 bottles i wouldnt go there, paying shipping twice is crappy!), columbus or soapers choice- 11.90, ive been happy with all of them, if you are buying any butters, dont buy at wsp, spendy, obn good prices, at soapers, you have to buy 10lbs or more.
