Its been a long time since I've tried to formulate a palm recipe and I used it in combo with lard, which I won't be this time.
I don't like a lot of olive oil in soap since it soaks up a lot of moisture so thought of using a mix of soft oils like ho sunflower, safflower, etc. But wow that's a lot of soft oil for someone used to using 60%+ of lard!
Is 40% palm, 20% co, 35% soft oil and 5% castor - reasonable? Anyone else find this recipe - uninspired??
