Packing soap

Hi ,

Please can anyone let me know if it’s possible to pack soap in wood wool ie. wood shavings. I have some cold process soaps that I would like to pack in presentation boxes with wood wool but I am worried that the soap will react with the wood. Can anyone help? Thanks so much

As long as the soap is fully cured, there shouldn't be any reaction with the wood.

I think it might depend on what kind of wood shavings you use. Some are very resinous.

Thanks for that, I think I will wrap the soaps first in tissue paper just to be on the safe side.
