What is the best way to package, let's say a scrub jar ? I looked at 3x3x3 boxes, but can you really just send a tiny box like that? Trying to figure out to offer gift boxes etc.But sending jars is a little trickier. How do you ship them ?

Hey nice to see you   Personally I would take that box and then place into a bubblewrap bag for posting..................I am just getting into stampin up so full of ideas on decorating boxes and the such

Hi, I have been looking into packaging myself. There is a lot out there and is difficult to find... well decide on the ones I like but also the practical ones too. I have been looking on a site called Aliexpress.com. It is bulk buy and has some good deals. I am really keen on the Kraft paper boxes as they look good decorated with a ribbon or you could simply leave it blank and put a stamp on it and send it away to someone. They look hand made yet professional too. This site also has packaging, decorations etc too. You can find just about anything on it.

Is your scrub in a fragile container -- say a glass jar or a thin plastic or metal container? If your shipping box is only a bit bigger than the jar and the jar is rather fragile, the jar can easily be damaged because there is no room for cushioning. The shipping box must be sized so if it is dropped or crushed, the contents are not likely to be damaged. A shipping box that is only a little larger than the merchandise is not going to be a good solution.

I would use a box that is at least 1" larger all around. Wrap the container in unused newsprint, foam, bubble wrap, tissue paper, or whatever is appropriate for cushioning as well as a tidy appearance. Put the wrapped jar into the box, seal, and ship.

To be super extra safe, choose a decorative box that is just the right size for the container. In this case, the decorative box is going to be "insurance", but is not the main protection against damage. Wrap the deco box with the container inside with your bubble/tissue/newsprint, then put the whole thing into a second shipping box, seal, and ship.
