I am used to shopping at WSP, BB, and Sage for all of my current products, but with being new to CP soap I'm curious where are good places price and selection wise for oxides and molds? I have a fat cart at WSP and started wondering if maybe better elsewhere?

hi there! if you're just starting out, you'll be experimenting with different recipes and such...and there will be the occasional flop too...(ask me how I know!) here's a WSP silicone mold for guest soaps...should take only about 8-9 oz oils which is a perfect tester size...since it's silicone you can also force gel with the oven method or electric heating pad...also very easy to slice with a kitchen knife...easy to wrap and decorate for stocking stuffers, too...out of stock right now, but more in soon...I've had my eye on a couple of them for myself...can't beat the price, either, and no need for liners! http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.co...+Loaf+-+Guest+Size+-+Clear+Silicone+Mold+1502

Thanks! I am new still and just finished my 6th batch. All are coming out great though for future.
Will check out the links. :)

I think you'll be happy purchasing the molds and/or oxides from BB or WSP. The Crafter's Choice silicone log mold or the BB 10" silicone log mold are both perfect molds for approx 40-44oz of soap batter. Or, BB has the new smaller mold that would work great for 1oz sizes of FOs. I just bought 2 of the small molds for testing size.
