There are a few soaps I made for the December spoon swirl challenge but never entered or posted. I still have 30 minutes to get them out to you guys in the same month and year. Here goes, with new year cheers and aspirations for better soaping!
See how blurred the bottom soap is? That's not the photo, it's the soap! Maybe has something to do with the way a gelled castile moves mica around, idk. (yes, castile. I got tired of wasting oils on failed challenge soaps so I made a couple out of 100% olive, which is the cheapest oil I have. Plus it was easier and I was losing enthusiasm *gasp*).
The one above it, the blue gray one, is colored with indigo in the background and the swirl. I added mica to a little indigo batter to make the swirl, but as you can see the indigo completely overpowered it. Now I know!!
