Hi. Im curious as to whether people feel that OSTRICH OIL useful in soap making. Do you have experience with it? Do you think it's a good product? Do you have any issues with using it or in finding it?

We are over-supplied in pure oils and wondering who can use it (besides us for skin products!).

:)

Thanks!
Debbie
I just bought 8 pounds of Ostrich fat to render down to make oil. It was very expensive ($30.00 per pound). I rendered it over night (dry) and will hear it again a couple of more times to see if I can get it cleaner. I'm new to Ostrich oil but read so many healthy skin benefits I really wanted to give it a try. I won't use it for soap because it's far too expensive but I am excited to put it in my skin care products. I just have to find out the best way to clean it well.
