Order ship time from soap ingredient supplier

I placed an order for soap making supplies and it took 5 days for the company to ship the order. Is this normal. What has been your experience with lead times. I live on the east coast and the supplier is on the left coast. So it will also take 7 days shipping to get to me. Can anyone recomend a supplier with a quicker order fill time on the eastern side of the USA.

what kind of supplies? hard to make a recommendation without knowing! also what kinds of quantities of said supplies?

Many suppliers ship immediately if not sooner. I'm east coast too - so hopefully I will be able to help.

I have ordered from a few sites now and most orders have taken around a week to get to me. Whenever I order from Canwax.com I get my orders speedy fast.... I think I got one in about 3 days before.

I don't think 5 days is that long to wait.

The order consisted of 3 different colors of pigment and 5 different fragrances (CYBILLA FRAGRANCE).

My order took 5 working days (7 calendar days) for the company to fill and have if picked up by Fed-X. It will take 7 more days for it to ship to me by Fed-X. Total of 14 days.

I think 5 days turn over is pretty good since most online shops have disclaimers like "allow 6 weeks for delievery". Not real sure what you were expecting.

I've had orders from them take 2wks before. Then again, I've ordered from Lonestar (I'm in Texas as well, about 4 hours from them) and it took 7-10 days to reach me.. ???

scent works in NC ships very quickly unless they are having a huge sale. I don't think they carry much in the way of colorants though.

honestly almost any supplier does better than that!

Ohhh, 5 days to ship! That seems long. I have had some companies ship up to about 2 days later, but never 5. I thought you meant you were getting your orders within 5 days of ordering. I don't think I have ever had to wait longer than about a week and a half after ordering for any of my soap supplies to arrive!
