This is a tallow-based Orange Patchouli. Household favorite. I love the way hubby smells after using this. You can smell the lingering patchouli for hours & hours. The bathrooms always smell fantastic when this is being used. Even my 7 & 10 yo boys love it.

DH asked me to not put the orange peel in it this time. He wanted a smoother soap. Well... I used paprika infused in olive oil. I did strain most of the larger paprika out, but as you see there is still plenty in the soap. I like the look.

I used 2.5 oz 5 fold Sweet Orange EO (from NDA) and 1 oz Patchouli (that's at least 10 years old from Snowdrift). The patchouli is just wonderful after all those years. I need to buy another 16 oz bottle before the prices get any higher.

Your soap looks gorgeous!

I make an orange poppy seed soap that's a mix of sweet orange and patchouli ... and I love the smell!
