hey guys. Me again with thousands of questions ‍♀️

What’s ypur opinion on this options:

1. 50% Armoir lard + 50% canola oil

2. 50% Armour lard + 50% coconut oil

3. 50% canola oil + 50% coconut oil

DOS, with that percentage of Canol and 50% of coconut oil is it going to be very drying soap. You could use 50 lard, 10%Canola, 5% Castor, 20 % Coconut Oil, 15% OO or Avocado, or Almond

Or you could up the lard to 60% and use coconut at 20% with canola at 15% and castor at 5%.

Unless your canola is high oleic then you can use more of it.

“High oleic”? How can I know that? Thisnis the one I use:

It looks like that nutrition label is missing the info to estimate the oleic-nissity☆ of the oil. The front side is covered with phrases good for frying (high) but also good for salad dressing.... wonder if this is a mid-oleic then?

I think you'll be safe, no matter the oleicnissity* of the canola oil if you limit it to 30% of the recipe.
You'll want some coconut for bubbles (15-30% of the recipe (the amount you'll want is inversely related to your age )). Lard for the bulk of the recipe. You're golden.

*Now that it has been used twice it's a word!! :washingdishes:
