Hi everyone! Some of you know me but I'm seeing a lot of new faces here.
To start off with I would like to let you know that I have been approved as a donor for Operation Santa Claus where I have been approved to supply hand-made soaps for the Canadian troops overseas at Christmas. Here is a copy of the letter I received from the Canadian Forces:
Hi Lindalu
Thank you for showing your support to our deployed soldiers.
Op Santa Claus would be more than willing and pleased to accept your hand-made soap for our holiday parcels. This year we are expecting to have approx 5,000 soldiers away from home over the holiday season and it would be ideal if we could have a soap for each of their parcels.
Please let me know your thoughts. I look forward to working with you to make this happen.
Again, thanks for caring about our soldiers.

So obviously I can't do 5,000 soaps all by myself so I am asking for help. I need to give them an estimate of how many soaps I will be sending by June. Anyone who feels they can contribute to this would be so very much appreciated. As I have enough soap to be sent out they will send a courier to me for pick-up. Anything you can do will help even if it's just 2 or 3 bars, it really does all add up. I have committed to at least 120 bars.....
