Hi everyone,

I was considering running a contest to promote my website and was wondering if anyone else has done anything like this. Any advice or help you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Pink

Running a contest will definitely get people over to your site. Where are you planning to advertise/hold the contest?

the contest would only be open to residents of Canada ,because that is where I am focusing my sales right now. I plan to open up to the U.S. as soon as I get that sorted out.

I was planning to advertise via my facebook page and an email campaign.

I'm an internet marketer working with the company you see the link below for. I have lots of experience in this area. I'd love to give you some pointers on how to run a powerful and efficient contest.

Feel free to send me a PM or you may also contact me through our website at the very bottom link on the right with the little speech bubble next to it.

Contests are a great way to bring attention to a new or slow site. If done correctly, you can really see the results - especially if you are sure to catch your leads in the form of a newsletter sign up (or something similar).

Well it's been awhile (had a very busy summer), but I'm back into a routine. I have started a small contest to kind of launch some of the changes I've made.

What I decided to do was offer it to all my fans on facebook. On October 4, 2009, I'll draw one of the names and send them two bars of my newest soap.

Not much, but something to get started. Thanks for all the encouragment. :)
