Hello everyone!
This forum has been incredible helpful as I began to make some candles! I was one of those silent lurkers for a while
Anyway--I am an certainly no pro..
I have always LOVED Diptyque Candles, so I recently began a mission to try and recreate them just for my own pleasure, to burn, instead of continuing my silly 60.00 per candle obsession!
After much research, I learned that Diptyque Candles are made with a "paraffin / veg" blend, so I found that the closest thing was IGI 6006, I love it! I've made quite a few candles so far, and the results are very similar to the burning qualities and consistency of Diptyque wax.
Now heres my issue! I am having a really tough time finding "type" fragrance oils, or even blending my own to try and create a "type".
SweetCakes, has so far been the only place I have been able to find one particular scent recreation--the "Baies" scent. It arrives today, so I will update you on that one!
My question may be a bit broad, but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Diptyque fragrance, and could suggest some FO sellers that you feel are similar or on par.
Ok for now, I will continue to scour this forum while I wait to see if I get any responses!
Thank you so much and Happy New Year!
