Olive Pomace is orange?

Hi

Couple of days ago I recieved 20L of olive oil pomace from a new supplier and the color is orange alike...
Before I had Olive pomace which was green and actually looked like olive oil :|

I was wondering if anyone had the same experience and if it will be ok for soapmaking?

The color is determined by the type of olive. It changes somewhat in the refining, but its determined by the olive. green oil comes from green olives. yellowish, brown, orange-ish, comes from black olives. its probably just refined olive oil, but if youre concerned, check with the manufacturer.
