I happened upon this today at a flea market. I found it quite interesting. It smelled like old olive oil. Not rancid, but old.

.............and I did not buy it :/ After I left of course I was kicking myself! Its local though and I have some pics of candy machines we have to show the shop owner. So I am going to see if its still there. I love small, old medicinal bottles too. They are so neat.
