oily soap

My m&p soap had a layer of oil after it hardend i know i added too much oil is there anything i can add to get rid of the oil(besides add more base) ? I was thinking about adding baking soda. Anyone have any suggestions?

Baking soda wouldn't get rid of the oil. It might help soak up the oil a bit, but it'd still be there.
Really, I think just adding more soap would be the only way to even it out more.
With mp, adding less oils is usually better.
