Oils in CP Saop

Can you use oils that are purchased from the grocery store, like olive oil, sunflower oil, grapeseed oil in the soap recipie? Or do you have to buy a certain type of oil from a soap supply company? thanks for your response, I am a new soap maker - just getting started.

I used pure Italian olive oil from the supermarket for the soap I made recently and I haven't had any problems. I can get good coconut oil at the Asian shop (the ladies use it to dress their hair) so I buy what I need locally when I can. I've mixed the coconut oil with rosemary EO as a pre-shamppo treatment and it has been fine. Good luck!
