Coconut, palm, lard, tallow, olive, sunflower, Shea butter, cocoa butter, castor, just to name a few.

Coconut, Shea come from NUTs. I want oils & butters that do NOT come from NUTs because of NUT allergies.

Please ...

Palm kernel, fully hydrogenated soybean, and babassu in the hardest oils (it's a seed derivative, but I've heard of related allergies being set off by babassu. I know nothing about this).

Palm, lard, and tallow in the harder oils.

Olive, soybean, canola, and sunflower in the common soft oils. Some people do have allergy issues with sunflower and soybean, though, so watch those carefully (they're just not nut allergies). Plus soy, canola, and sunflower will be more DOS prone.

Coconut is actually a fruit, and most people who are allergic to tree nuts can consume and use coconut. Some cannot.

Aloe Vera butter, avocado butter, Cupuacu butter, hemp butter, olive butter, soy butter and Tucuma Butter pick your choice.

I agree, Coconut and Shea come from nut. Just recently a product was pulled from the shelf because it didn't list coconut oil for those with nut allergies.
