Hi everyone! Yesterday I made 2 batches using the following recipe. The only differences were the fragrances & liquids: 11% apricot kernel oil, 12% coconut oil, 3.862% Olive oil, 15% Palm oil, 17% sunflower oil, 5.4% Palm kernel flakes, 34.76% soybean oil, 2% sodium lactate, kaolin clay, 2.9 oz of lye & 8.4 oz of liquid.
The first batch was a cucumber soap. I used 1.9 oz coconut cream & 6.5 oz cucumber water & I added cucumber puree at trace. It turned out fine. The second batch was a pear soap. I used 5.4 oz water & 3 oz coconut milk. It came out very soft. Some areas are softer than others & it's a little oily. I'm guessing that I mismeasured the lye or maybe I had a false trace? I'm not sure and Idk how to fix it. Can someone give me any suggestions?

I used a pear fragrance oil and I'm not sure about the fat content of the coconut milk. It was a heavy coconut milk that I found in the ethnic aisle of the supermarket. I'm melting the soap down in my crock pot now to rebatch but idk if I should add more lye water or how much.
