Here’s an update. After a week, the extra oil appears to have been absorbed. It still feels a bit oily to the touch, but I see no reason that it won’t continue to dry normally over the next few weeks. Surprisingly, I’m not getting the clove or patchouli so much as the orange, but I anticipate orange will dissipate a bit as it cures as orange tends to do. All-in-all, I’m ok with it. It looks absolutely nothing like what I was attempting to do, but I think I’m the only one who knows that.
