Lately while browsing the internet, I've come across images that I can't help but think would be so good done in soap. Thought I'd share a few. Happy weekend everyone, and happy Easter to those who celebrate!

Red cabbage (I love cabbage t0 eat, of course)
Cookies?
Salmon? I've never seen salmon arranged in such a way, but I think it looks like salmon. I used to be a fisherwoman and used to smoke lots and lots and lots of salmon and steel head. They were my favorite smoked fish. If it's not salmon, I wonder what it is, because it looks like it is in a pie crust inside a pie tin and that's something I would not expect to see, either.

But, yes, the designs would make nice soap.

What, the third picture? It looks so much like salmon. Well, I guess I haven't filleted a salmon in a couple of decades, but still. Plums! I never would have guessed. I wonder how they get the plums to look like that.
So I went and looked at this again. If you look closely you can see these are thin slices set vertically into the pattern. At least that's what I think.

is there anything you haven't done??
(I say this with awe and respect).

I think I have a new non-romantic lady crush. ;)

I thought all of those photos, esp the cabbage, were soap of some type at first.

Why thank you, Lilian!

When you get to be my age, I'll bet you will have done quite a lot of things yourself. With age comes experience. Of course a sense of adventure and a bit of fearlessness goes a ways to increase the opportunities for expanding ones horizon. But, sure, there are still things on my bucket list I have not yet done. However since I plan to live many more years, if all goes well, I have a few yet-to-be experienced adventures ahead of me.
