Hi,
I am the director of a small nonprofit organization, and we are launching a cottage industry project in rural India. The products that we are looking to manufacture are soaps, bath and spa products.
The goal of this project is to offer fair trade employment for village women and to fund projects like funding a shelter for women and girls who have been rescued from human trafficking.
We are looking for guidance on several issues. Is there anyone who would be willing to offer some assistance?
Some of our questions involve labor, what we should be calculating in terms of labor time, how that time is divided into soap production and packaging. Other questions involve what materials and equipment we should be sourcing.
If there is someone out there who would like to assist us as an adviser, please let me know.
