So I recently revisited my Oatmeal Milk & Honey soap along with my Cucumber Melon soap. My OMH I revised the recipe just a touch and I decided on a mica drop on the top to add some "flare" lol. The Cucumber Melon needed a revisit since the last time I did it I tried it CPOP and it bubbled all over the place and I'm pretty sure it leaked FO at some point during the OP. This time I just helped the gel with a heating pad and covered it with a towel. Much better! It's also my submission for the Great Cakes Soapworks Tiger Stripe Challenge and I'm doing such a loud and obnoxious happy dance at the way it turned out, I'm just glad it didn't show up on video lol. I do have the making and cutting of both of these soaps on my youtube should you care to watch that.

Pics!

The OMH looks wonderful, but the cucumber melon looks spectacular! I can see why you were doing a happy dance with it :)

Thanks everyone! I was so worried how those stripes would turn out. My batter was a bit runny at first so I was sure it was going to be a hot mess. I'm just thrilled!

I saw that on your youtube I was so happy to see it turn out amazing for you! That is awesome! They are both just perfect, great job!

Thank you for watching! I'm so happy with the results of that tiger stripe I feel it might become a sort of standard in a lot of my soaps in future. I like the faux tiger stripe that I did with the Moonlight Path I did a while back. Same technique but poured high to penetrate lower layers and just a smidge of a swirl with a chopstick...like a really big S once through.
