I'm new to making bath products so am here for help.

I'd like to try and make some sugar scrub cubes after trying a sugar scrub from the Rocky Mountain Soap Company. It left my skin so smooth and soft.

I found this recipe for which I actually have all the ingredients LOL. I do plan on subbing turbinado sugar for white if you all think I can.

2.5oz Natural Shea Butter Melt and Pour Glycerin Soap
4oz. Refined Shea Butter
16oz. White Sugar
2 Tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 Tablespoon Fragrance Oil (or 1/2 Tablespoon Essential Oil) of Choice
Pinch of ultramarine or oxide pigment (optional)

Now just looking at it I think there is waaaaayy to much EO for the amount of carrier oil. Am I right? and if so, I am questioning the entire recipe. Any thoughts?

The turb sugar is too scrubby for me, so I recommend a blend of it and regular: maybe 20% of the turb.

And yes, FAR too much fragrance material. I use it at 1% of the weight of the materials excluding sugar, tho some go higher.

I don't work with MP soap, so I cannot really say. But I think there is a recipe right on this forum.
