This will probably be really obvious to some of you seasoned soapers, but I wanted to check before I waste a bunch of ingredients.

If you mix different colors of matte pigment powders, will the colors blend into a different color? For example, if I blended some titanium dioxide powder with red matte pigment powder and mixed the combined powder with a little olive oil, will I end up with pink? Likewise, I'm assuming the answer will be the same for mica powders?

Mixing colorants is one of the easiest ways to save money on colors. You can do so much by mixing primary colors, and also making pastels with TD. Oxides and ultramarines are very concentrated so be sure not to use too much,
Just this week I have come up with a beautiful purple using what I already have on hand. As Dixiedragon said just make sure any mica you use is color stable and approved for CP.

Thank you! I was hoping that I could mix colors and not have to have an arsenal of colors on hand every time I wanted to get creative. :)

I want to try a rose/apple scent with a column swirl, and I don't have any pink!
