New to soap making 16 year old male

I'm 16 and I'm from Weslaco Texas.
I have many hobbies I've always been interested in how everything works and how it's made.
I decided to take up soap and candlemaking not because I want natural ingredients although the soap I'm using makes my face peel.
I want to make it because I strive to be self sufficient and I'm also a prepper

My other hobbies include camping, hiking, shooting, hunting, fishing, reloading and casting ammunition, trapping, boats, when I move out I'm going to get into gunsmithing, I also garden though only stuff you can eat not for decoration

I think it means someone whos preparing for disaster.of course i could be wrong.

A prepper is different for different it can just be going out into the world on your own to a disaster. I do have to say he is going in the right direction for it.

Thank you Aseret and Michelle! I knew what the word 'Preppy' meant, but had never heard of the term 'Prepper' before, and from the sound of it, it didn't seem much like the two were connected at all. Well, I guess it's true what they say- you learn something new everyday. Thanks again!
