What do you think about this one. I still don’t quite understand the oleic value.but would this be a well bar of soap?

Water as percent of oil 35%
Super fat 5.5%

Shea butter 5%
Palm oil 31%
Olive oil 39%
Rice bran 6%
Castor 5%
Coconuts ol 14%

Your recipe will produce a fairly mild, reasonably long-lasting bar of soap. With 14% coconut oil, you're not going to get big fluffy lather, but you can boost the bubbles by adding sugar or sorbitol to your water before adding the lye. I like to keep oleic acid in my recipes at around 40-45% because I like the way it contributes to lather density and foamy mid-sized bubbles.

I ran your recipe through the calculator (attached). 35% water as a percent of oils is a lot of water unless you're making hot process soap. If you're making cold process soap consider using 33% lye concentration.

I either use rice bran oil or olive oil, (not both), as they are similar in the qualities they impart to lye based soap. I have never had a problem with DOS when using rice bran oil, but I always add a little Vit E to my oils or use high oleic rice bran oil.
