Hey there everybody!

Today I had two really cool things happen and one bad thing... The bad thing is my computer died - no warning - just dead....

Now for the good things! I have been offered the opportunity of joining the Arts Council and displaying one of my Soaps as a sculpture! They want me to display one of my bundt cakes!!!!!

The second good thing is that I located a farmer's market that is open all year round (I knew about the summer market but not the winter market) and I'm meeting with them on Saturday to become a member so I can have a table/booth. Once a member the cost for the table is 10% of sales so it really makes it worth while. PLUS the lady I'm dealing with has some rendered tallow that I can get from her to use for soaping, plus the membership includes people who have goat's milk, raw honey, honey combs and bees wax!

So 2 out of 3 makes for a good day

Now can someone please tell me if I can use honey combs in my soaps?????

Sorry 'bout the puter - but the rest is Fabo!

Sounds like things are definitely looking up! What an honor to be asked to be part of the Arts Council!

soap

that is so wonderful! i'm truly glad for you!

i've used beeswax in soap-melting it with the oils and used honey-mixing it in my goatsmilk at trace, but i've never used honey in the comb before.

i guess, maybe melt it in your oils and stick blend it to disburse the honey better and soap as usual.

That really stinks about your computer! But everything else sounds like it is falling in place for you!

Thanks Digit,

I also found out that they are planning an open-air market at the wharf here in town as they finish the upgrades - not sure how long that will take but I can tell you I would love to be a part of that!

Cheers
