New Impulse Sealer

I just unboxed my impulse sealer and it doesnt work - is there an on / off switch or should it just seal when plugged in. Maybe its a fuse?
Bought a 30cm one and my last one was a 20cm but I left it in the Cape.
Help???????

Look at the sealer and look at similar ones, make sure it has all of parts. For example, if it uses a wire make sure the wire is there and intact.

Have found loads of youtubes about them so will set about mechaniking it tomorrow
Its just to hot here - bout 40 degrees celcius and although its windy and thundering and lightening like mad - there is just no rain.
I am going to go outside and do a rain dance.

Fixed it - it was the micro switch - it must have moved during posting, apparently this happens a lot - well now i know where a micro switch is and what it looks like. The soaping learning curve never ends.
