Hi All,
I have been lurking and poking about for a while now and joined up a couple of weeks ago. I have been making cp soap for about a year now and I have gotten many ideas and techniques from you.
I got interested in soapmaking while I was at a bee conference last year in Vermont. There was a presentation about value added products from the hive which I didn’t think that I would be interested in at all. The beekeeper/soapmaker said how using handmade soap with beeswax would help with dry skin and eczema. My wife has problems with her psoriasis so I thought that I would try it. Well it worked so well that we have used nothing but our beeswax soap since then.
I make 8 different scents now and will probably make more as I grow more. I am looking forward to trying a shaving soap so that might be my next experiment.
Thank you all for your help,
John
