I love the delicate top half of soapjams soaps. I was inspired by her soaps, and decided to skewer mine and attempt a look like hers.
This was scented with my third eo blend ever, and right now it smells awesome! Hoping with a cure the deeper notes will come out because they aren't really there right now (but it still smells great!).

18 oz oils scented at .5 oz ppo. That was 16 grams total eo split
8 grams dark patchouli
3 grams lavender 40/42
2 grams litsea
2 grams cedarwood
1 gram rosemary

This was a gentle soap experimental recipe with
5% castor
15% co
15% Shea
20% Olive
25% tallow
20% sweet almond oil

Wow. That is beautiful! I like the sound of your essential oil blend too, would never have thought to put litsea in that combination!

I particularly love your round one with the combed round swirl.

Half patch and you can't smell it? There's no way it won't come through in the end, I would think. I wish I had a good enough imagination to put those scents together in my head. How did you think of the combo?

I went to about 6-8 different websites, blogs and suppliers. Oops, hit send! Edit.
I googled patchouli blends well with
Lavender blends well with
Litsea blends well with etc. Etc.

and then I went to six to eight different websites and wrote down individually what everybody said blended well with all the eo's I had purchased.

I then put each scent on to the tip of the q-tip and stuck it in a baggie for 24 to 36 hours. I've then pulled the Q tips out and smelled them in combination with each other and found that I kind of like the way this blend smelled. So I just decided to use the different amounts randomly, & I guess it worked out this time
