So it was suggested to me after my job was made redundant this week that I should make myself a special soap just to use at times like this.

So here it is, scented with blackberry. The pink on top was actually purple when poured (you can see the colour it was on the cut edges)

I used my favourite recipe but added some Shea butter for a little extra luxury

Ps I got a new job yesterday so it is definitely a new beginning

The swirls are beautiful ! How did you get the gradient from orange to pink ! It's really artistic !

I think you gave yourself some good mojo with that beautiful soap. Plus, I didn't say this on the job thread, Sonya, but you seem like one of those people who makes things happen for yourself, I wish I was more like that. The soap looks and sounds gorgeous.

Thats such a pretty soap! And the morphing really makes a nice gradient! What did you use for the black? Activated charcoal?

That swirl is amazing, and the colors are great!!! Looks wonderful. Congrats :)

Gorgeous swirls! Wow, what a new beginning! Do you mind me asking what technique you used?

Thanks everyone!!

Seawolfe - yep it's AC

Newbie - you inspired me with your beautiful black soaps!

Rowan - it's a faux funnel pour in a slab mould, started with maybe 4 starting points and just alternated the colours then twisted the mould a few times to move from circles to this

That's a really nice thing to say. And as for wishing - if there's something you want, go for it!!

Thanks for sharing that Sonya. I've been wanting to try that technique in a while. I'll have to put it higher on my ever expanding list! Just hope it turns out as gorgeous as yours.
