neem oil and pine tar ~Oh my god the stench!

I am attempting to make a soap using both pine tar and neem oil ~ man I wish I would not have, the smell is almost unbearable ~ I can't imagine any essential oil will cover that up! YUCK! Even if they are supposed to be good for exzema and skin conditions ~I'm not sure anyone would be able to shower with that smell!

Yeah... that's one combo that I might include a clothespin with so you can clip it on your nose while showering.

will the smell fade away after a while 'cause then you can rebatch with fragrance

I don't know it was horrible making it ~ the tea tree didn't cover the smell ~I was making that combo because I had read of all the benifits for skin issues like dandruff and exzema but man ~ I just can't imagine using the stuff ~ I will probably just sell the whole block ~ i guess people with skin issues swear by the stuff ~ but I don't think even if they sold like hotcakes that I could stand making another batch ~ I don't even think I can stand cutting into bars, it's that bad!! I hope it will fade, yuck! sorry I wasted some of my precious oils in that batch. Anyone who has made pine tar or neem soap ~ any luck with it?

The pine tar I just made this past weekend smells strongly but not so bad that it is all that objectionable. My son even liked the smell. Of course I used Lard and castor with it no neem.
