For a school project, I am making bubble bath and a massage oil.

Couple of questions I'm looking for help with:
1) how to make the bubbles last longer
2) what is a good recipe for the ingredients that we have
3) amount of each product to put in

Ingredients (bubble bath):
- Castile soap (olive oil bar soap)
- Glycerin (350mL)
- Lavender essential oil (10mL)

I would like to make as much as I could with the amount of product I already have. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I tried this once and never could get it to work. You can check bath and body suppliers. Some have a bubble bath base to which you can just add fragrance. Since it's a group project, you could buy it in bulk, say by the gallon. Not that expensive.

Price isn't a problem, but the problem is that there is no such thing as bath and body suppliers that I know of in this city.

However, this is the recipe we used and it does make bubbles..just doesn't last long and the consistency is too thick (when we tried with liquid glycerin + castile soap)

for the base
1 quart of distilled water
1 bar of castille soap. (4 oz. Bar)
4 ounces liquid glycerin

Thanks.
