Need a 1# CP recipe

I need a smaller test batch recipe. Does anyone have a 1# recipe using palm oil, olive oil and coconut oil they wouldn't mind sharing?

this is my favorite recipe, i use 9.5 0z of each, i suppose you could cut it in 1/2? I add a ounce or two of castor for xtra bubbles, you'll like this recipe. Let me know if any questions. You said palm, not palm kernel right?

Just be careful - I personally don't recommend soaping in a blender. (you can use the same recipe doing regular CP). Yes, some use a blender without splattering and blinding themselves, but I don't believe taking that chance is something *I* want to do!.

I actually started out using the blender method from colebrothers. The website made it sound so easy!

I was very careful and kept a towel over the top of the blender. But then I tried stick blending and it's so much easier.

I think a good basic recipe is 8 oz olive oil, 4 oz coconut oil, 4 oz palm. I think I used 6 oz water and 2.2 oz lye for a 5% discount, but please run it through a lye calculator first.

The bad thing is that my husband wanted to use the blender, but couldn't because it smelled like soap. Guess I have to buy a new one.

Always check the lye amount for the SF you want.

I actually try to use grams when I do 1# batches. It's much more accurate and soapcalc gives everything in grams too.
