My 13 year old Granddaughter presented me with a sticker for my car which although l wasn't exactly sure what it meant dutifully displayed it on the back window of my car.I have had comments all week from young men regarding the sticker like"Go Nana" , "l sure like your sticker lady" "Way to go Nana"etc nothing nasty just said with big smiles and thumbs up as if its some big joke. Now its got me a little worried about what the sticker is saying about me.
My sticker says "Nana with Attitude" what does this actually means :?

Thankyou for your answers,it makes me feel a lot better.I really should try and keep up with my Grandkids speech but sometimes its like a foreign language.
I have been searching for a name for my soaps and everytime l have thought of something the names have already been used up so l think l have just found one
"Nana with Attitude"

I put older people into 2 categories: feeble and feisty. The feeble are the ones that decide that around approx age 50, they are waiting for death (not that I think 50 is old by any stretch of the imagination) and the feisty grab life by the reins and live it up. My paternal grandmother (Mom-Mom) and my maternal grandmother (Nan) were (I just found out) about 1 year apart in age. My Mom-Mom had seemed like an old-lady on "the verge of death" since... well, my whole life... whereas Nan is constantly trying to go on dates with my husband to the casino where they drink it up and have a grand old time.

See the difference? Nan would definitely be considered a "Nana with Attitude." It's absolutely a good thing! :)

That's really sweet I think. Nice to be a nana with attitude! Sounds fun!

Through uncontrollable influences my Granddaughter lived with us for a lot of her life so l think its is her that has kept me young also having a stream of exchange students from around the world who we have been Mum and Dad to has kept me on my toes but teen language still has me beat and the Grand kids take it in turns to translate for Nana  they think its great fun to keep me guessing.
