Here's what happened when I tried to get 'creative' with my orange-patchouli soap. Usually I just let the orange EO color the soap and add a little orange peel powder. This time I had some annatto-infused OO that needed using so I decided to add it along with red & black clay. Top looks nice but the innards really concern me . . . kinda bummed that I wasted some of newbie's swap silk on this hot mess

What are you talking about "hot mess"? I think the soap came out beautifully and the color is still very very nice!

Oh I don't know that it will bleed and everyone will think you OD'ed on carrots or tanning spray. ;) I've made soap from red palm oil that were very colored but lather was white! Fear not, my little oompa loompa, but wash your hands first with it before your face.

Your clay colors also came out wonderfully.

What is it Carolyn once told me....a copy and paste from a thread I made once.

I simple do not worry about colored bubbles, after all soap is a washoff. What I do, is recommend to my customers not to use a $20 white wash cloth with handmade scented soap. Please keep in mind, fo's that turn dark will also create a soap that will leave color on the washcloth. If color is left on my wooden soap dish I just give it a short soak in bleach water. Blue's and purples are used as whiteners for many products such as laundry whitener and shampoos

I have several colorful, deep colored micas and or oxides that I found bled. Fo's that discolor brown are bad at it too. It looks great! Again, hats off to all fellow au natural colorant and eo soapers. I'm totally ignorant in that dept and am impressed at everything I see regarding that!

Point is...it's great :)

Those are really pretty. I bet if they do bleed, it won't be much. I have a bar that is 30% red palm and those make a heck of a mess but it doesn't stain the skin or tub.
