Hazel, do you have an addiction to peanut butter fudge? I know this isn't the first time I've read about someone's soap reminding them of that- but I don't remember if you were the poster!

What a great first batch! It's so rewarding, isn't it, to cut it up and gaze upon your first lovely soaps, but now you have to wait to use them. Ouch! And yes, did you use a fragrance?

My monitor is very old and it shows pictures darker than newer ones. So I guess the monitor has gotten worse and the color I saw is really off.

And no, I don't have an addiction to peanut butter fudge. I was just commenting on what it reminded me of and yes, I've said it before about other people's soaps.

Excuse me for being repetitive. I won't mention it again.

Hazel! Peanut butter fudge is one of the greatest treats in the world, so to compare one's soap to it is a real compliment! No need to stop! (I do have an addiction to PB Fudge. Or at least my mom's fudge.)

I agree, Sammycakes, great job on your first batch of soap!

Congratulations! It looks creamy and reminds me of peanut butter fudge. Did you scent it?
It actually was quite creamy. I scented it with a jasmine and sandalwood blend from Whole Foods called "Love Potion." I didn't really care for the scent, though.

Yes, I was amazed it turned out so well. I actually made these on Christmas Eve so they are long gone. Gave most of it away to co-workers and family.
