I want to make soap this weekend, and I want to try and practice working with a "White soap formula", but I'm out of Coconut Oil. I've been playing with the SoapCalc9 calcultor, but I don't know about some of my oils whether they will discolor and not produce a white soap. Below is a list of the oils I do have, and I was wondering if you can help me list them as a "White oil-for white soap", or "Oil will discolor, not a white soap" Thanks.

Oils
Avocado oil
Canola oil
Castor oil.....................(white soap)
Crisco..........................(white soap)
Emu oil
Jojoba oil
Kukui oil
Macadamia oil
Olive oil........................(white soap)
Palm oil........................(white soap)
Palm Kernel flakes.........(white soap)
Sunflower oil

Butters
Cocoa Butter
Mango Butter
Shea Butter (raw)..........(discolor, not white soap)

While playing with the soap calculator and knowing which soap are white oils, I formulated this recipe. What do you think?

Crisco 20%
Castor 15%
Olive 5%
Palm 30%
PKO 30%

It's qualities are: hard 42, clean 19, cond'g 53, bubbly 32, creamy 37, INS 141.

Thank you so much Deda. I can really use this. Do you know where I can find the explanations to the number ratings on the "Color (RGB)" rating on the link?
